CORNERSTONE

God the Father sent God the Son to complete the work necessary to save his people. Since Christ did it all, God calls people by grace through faith in Jesus. He accepts us not according to what we have done, but in spite of it. Jesus connects us to God. This great drama is replayed in our worship. God calls us to worship through his Son. We respond by singing his praises. He convicts us of our sin and grants us repentance. We confess our sins to him. He assures us of forgiveness, reconciliation, and freedom from sin on the basis of Christ's completed work alone. We believe and receive forgiveness. He sanctifies us by his word and we offer our lives as living sacrifices. We enjoy union and communion with the living God.  <<BACK>>
