Worship can become merely a form of entertainment especially when it is structured to appeal to perceived tastes in order to attract worshipers. We believe that what matters most in worship is not what pleases any of us, but what God has said pleases him. One of the main things he has revealed that pleases him is for his people to gather together and worship him in spirit and truth. In worshiping him, he calls us to set aside our personal preferences and be conformed to his truth. The act of worship, through the work of the Holy Spirit, is transformational.  <<BACK>>
