Whether you are exploring historic Christianity or looking for a church home, you are warmly invited to join us this Sunday. We exist to glorify the God of all grace, to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to be sent by the Holy Spirit as witnesses and ambassadors of God’s glorious Kingdom. Come and be a part of a growing, worshiping and serving community of faith.
When Christians think of mission, we might tend to think about overseas or cross-cultural missions. And certainly, we must think about that. However, the scope of the mission is broader. Join us as we explore how our mission as God’s people flows out of His character and purpose, and how every believer has a role to play.
John (Part 2)
John wrote to people who were living in a world that had far more in common with ours than we may at first assume. That context was multicultural and pluralistic. There were many different religious perspectives vying for peoples’ allegiance. Generally accepted moral standards were similar in significant ways to our own time. Into that world, John was writing so that people may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that by believing they might have life in his name.
Please join us at Cornerstone for a Lessons and Carols Christmas celebration. We will read passage exploring Jesus’ birth and identity, and sing Christmas carols praising God for the good and gracious gift of His Son.
Daylight Savings Time Ends Sunday, November 4. That means we get to “fall back.” Enjoy!
Please join us Sunday, September 9th for an informational meeting. We will meet during our monthly lunch following worship, and the elders will discuss recent developments in addressing needs for more worship space.
For the summer we will be doing second Sunday evening meals together instead of our usual lunches. Please join us June 10 at 5:00 pm. You’re also invited to stay for our weekly prayer meeting following the meal.
Please plan to join us for our evening meal and prayer meeting July 8, 2018, as J and E will be visiting with us.
